June 5 and 6, 2019 at the Centre de congrès, Rouyn-Noranda

Over 230 people took part in the Secretariat`s 15th conference entitled The North and its Logistics organized by the Secretariat to the Cree Nation Abitibi-Témiscamingue Economic Alliance in collaboration with the City of Rouyn-Noranda and the Grand Council of the Crees (Eeyou Istchee) / Cree Nation Government. Discussions centered on the potential and the challenges of the logistic activities of the regional, interregional, and interprovincial economy. 

During the Conference, a number of business people from the Cree, Algonquin and Inuit communities in neighbouring regions participated in various discussion panels on climate change, logistics in the mining industry, chain supply and economic development. The Honorary Co-chairs of the Conference were the Mayor of Rouyn-Noranda, Mrs. Diane Dallaire and the President of the Secretariat, Drs. Ted Moses.
