The North and its Logistics

The Secretariat to the Cree Nation Abitibi-Témiscamingue Economic Alliance (SCNATEA) is pleased to present the 20th edition of its annual conference, which will be held on June 18 and 19, 2024, at the Rouyn-Noranda Convention Center, under the theme: The North and Its Logistics.

This major event aims to be a crossroads for exchange and reflection on the unique challenges and opportunities presented by logistics in our northern regions, and will bring together community leaders and local businesses with economic organizations from the region, business leaders, as well as municipal and regional elected officials.

The themes covered at the conference will be of crucial importance for sustainable development and the future of our communities. Conferences will focus on the logistical challenges of climate change, infrastructure, food self-sufficiency and new technologies and innovations. Collective reflection on these issues will enable us to explore innovative avenues and help us develop effective strategies to meet the growing challenges facing our communities.

Registration will begin in May.

The call is made!

Why get involved?

To contribute to the economic development of Indigenous nations and communities.

How to get involved?

Your commitment can be made before or during the event. It must be realistic and your company or organization must have the means to achieve it. It doesn’t have to be long and elaborate, the important thing is that it can be achieved and that it leads to concrete results.

See the Commitments Guide created by FNQLEDC as part of the Grand Economic Circle of Indigenous Peoples and Quebec (GECIPQ) movement.
